It’s almost the second half of 2017, yet we can’t get over Sangkap’s Cebu Lechon Sinigang, which we recall every time crave for something crispy and savoury. Their classic flavours and vibrant combinations set them apart, cherry-picking dishes from different parts of the Philippines. We also love the 2 tier portioning for each dish, which allows smaller groups to experience more of their offerings. Yes, we’d love to dine here more often, but their location is far from where we usual, but no worries the management is in the works to expand this concept across the Philippines.
The Menu Group
Established in 2015, The Menu Group (TMG) is a group of passionate young professionals dedicated to developing food ventures that feature creative concepts, and which cater to diverse markets. Since its formation, TMG has been the brains and brawn behind 4 new restaurants situated in popular and up-and-coming spots in Ortigas, and Mandaluyong City, namely Sangkap Filipino Restaurant, Sasa Asian Cuisine, Splice Events Place & Restaurant, and Sobremesa. Upcoming franchises of these are soon to open within the first half of 2017 in other cities in Metro Manila and Cebu.
In addition to these establishments, TMG is expanding its reach in the restaurant industry. The group also has involvement in management and minor stakes in Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken, Café Publico, Noodles Everyday, and Brasas Latin American Street Food in Meerea High Street, Mandaue City, Cebu.
To capture a wider scope of the food and beverage industry, the group has also branched with its involvement with the food court administration of Tower Café at Philam Life Tower, Makati City.
These involvements are made more sensible with its incorporation of Platho, a manpower services agency, that provides qualified personnel to TMG companies.
